DSP Solutions provides SPADeS at a discounted price to students currently enrolled in a college or
university.  To facilitate this, we ask that you provide us with proof of student status.  Upon receipt of
acceptable proof, you will be sent instructions on how to purchase SPADeS with the the student
discount.
What types of proof of student status are acceptable?

To qualify for the student discount, you may submit a copy of one of the following.  

* Valid student ID
* Registration/enrollment receipt from your university or college
* Letter of enrollment on university/department letterhead
* Official class schedule

Your proof of student status must display your first and last name, and the name of your school.  It
must also be current (valid for the semester in which it was submitted).  Personal information such as
social security numbers or payment amounts may be blacked out and/or deleted.

How can I actually submit proof of student status?

We would like to receive a scanned copy of one form of proof by e-mail.  The image submitted must
be either a JPG or a GIF image, no larger than 800 by 600 pixels, and the file size must not exceed
250 kB.  Please fill-out the request form by

to e-mail your proof of student status.

What happens after I submit proof of student status?

Upon receiving the proof of student status, we will examine and verify it.  If it is accepted, then we will
then send you a one-time use check-out coupon code via e-mail.  You will be able to use this coupon
code during the online check-out process to receive the discounted price.  Please note that
acceptance of the submitted proof is at the sole discretion of DSP Solutions.

How long does the verification process take?

Once you submit the proof of student status, it may take us up to three business days to verify it.  To
avoid delays, please make sure that you submit one of the approved forms of proof of student status
that is clearly readable and showing an unexpired date.  If you do not hear from us within five
business days after your submission, please inquire.

Can the software purchased with student discount be transferred?

No.  Software purchased with student discount is licensed to the original purchaser only, and may not
be sold or transferred to another user.

For how long may I use SPADeS software purchased with student discount?

You may use your copy of the SPADeS software purchased with student discount indefinitely.  It will
not expire.

Can the SPADeS software purchased with student discount be updated to future versions?

Yes.  If you are still an active student at the time you apply for the version update, you will be
required to submit proof of student status once again, and upon verification, you will be given a
coupon code for special student upgrade pricing.  If you are no longer an active student at the time
of the upgrade, then an upgrade is still possible, but you will receive the higher upgrade pricing for
the professional license.
